The new year kicked off very quickly with sideline reporting, an internship at AAP and my regular work making for a busy January.
I covered two nights of football’s Asian Cup including the Saudi Arabia-DPR Korea tie at AAMI Park in Melbourne.
Across the road at Melbourne Park, I reported on 18 day and night sessions of the Australian Open, including both the men’s and women’s finals – a testing but extremely fulfilling experience.
Here’s a selection of the articles I wrote in the first month of 2015:
MELBOURNE, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) — Novak Djokovic won his fifth Australian Open after rebounding from physical collapse to outlast four-time finalist Andy Murray in an exhausting four-set contest on Sunday.
